I just read this and thought it was pretty interesting. I might look into it since I dont have a Mac and I have been waiting for something like Garageband for PC. http://www.tgdaily.com/html_tmp/content-view-40932-140.html
The day Microsoft realizes it can't compete in every market is the day pigs fly. This is becoming more than annoying. Personally, though, I think GarageBand is overrated.
I think it sounds incredible... Though it's just gonna make every idiot out there think they can write songs.
GarageBand serves its purpose as an easy to learn, beginner's recording software. Logic Pro is Apple's professional recording software that offers an alternative to ProTools. Everyone in the music industry uses either ProTools or Logic Pro.
Well you got to keep trying as a company to grow. They reached out into music and gaming and have done excellent jobs there with the Zune and Xbox /Xbox 360.
To be fair, Apple does the same thing. They went into the television market with Apple TV, the phone market with the iPhone, etc. Microsoft and Apple both branch out into markets that make sense.
