there is the potential danger of heroes going down... the only great aspect of the show at this point is sylar.
Heroes isnt going down. Its still a top seller on iTunes, the most popular show on IGNs site (despite the horrible reviews on there), and the ratings still arent THAT bad. They are just dropping from what they are used to, which is normal with the amount of people that DVR the show. NBC wont cancel it and even if they do, another network will pick it up.
I don't know what show you've been watching. Hiro being stuck, a private powered army, WTF is Mohinder turning into, I see a lot of potential going on.
i didn't mean that heroes might get canceled, i just fear an enormous lack of quality. the plot with matt, daphne(sp??) and ando is so lame. come on, "the mysterious last episode of 9th wonders" which was selled to an unknown person by isaac mendez (why do they feel the need to bring him back all teh time?), huhuhu, then they found "him" and fullfilled their "great" quest. the crazy twists feel so forced. taking old events and develop them a bit further to make any sense with the latest events. for example the whole catalyst bullshit. oh yeah, claire is the catalyst but wait, hiro received the "light" from his mother just to lose it a few mins afterwards to arthur who dies a bit later. the intensity in the scene with hiro and his mother was amazing but that just screwed everything. but the greatest letdown is the typical build-up in an episode, that leads to certain people killing each other. do you remember in season one, where the haitian(sp) took noahs memories of claire so he could protect her? that was a very sad moment, well presented. but for what? shortly after that he gets his memories back and this whole moment is worth nothing if you ever watch it again. this is what happened again in season two (noah getting shot by mohinder) and what made the second part of the eclipse story a letdown. come on, sylar gets killed, claire dies and you don't believe this for a single second because such situations occured a few times in past episodes. why leading an episode to such a climax, just to throw the empathy away minutes after we feel it. that's a bad way of storytelling in my opinion. nathan switching sides is a typicals "brother-plot" but im ok with that. the private army is just another way to get a few more villians into the story. until the last two episodes i loved season 3 but the need of screwing every plot and every emotion every 2-3 episodes gets annoying. like someone said before, why did the whole sylar plot happen in the first place? make him good, an agent, just to make him bad again, "but wait, let him discover his good side with elle's help, ah whatever, screw you elle, let sylar go on a rampage". the last part is what keeps the show interesting for me right now. then again, arthur isn't dead because he absorbed adam's immortability... holy cow... it gets out of hand a bit. anyway, these are my concerns, like them or not.
Well for one, before Isaac died they showed him giving his paintings/comics to someone...so you are wrong about that part. They actually showed it in Season 1. EDIT: Here are some spoilers for everyone Spoiler For Episode 3x13 Dual: 1) Good guys will team up against each other 2) Villains will reveal their inner angels 3) Peter and Nathan will square-off against one another 4) Sylar will have Claire, HRG, Meredith and Angela captive inside The Company 5) Sylar and Claire will face-off and one of Claire's parents will die
I know what you mean, Trumtram. Though I don't quite agree with you. Well, I agree with the army part, but that's all. I think Season 3 has been pretty good so far and I like almost everything about it. I might have had the feeling that it was a bit forced and predictable at times, but I don't know, I think there wouldn't have been any Season 3 if it wasn't for those "events". Sylar: Interesting!
No problem I think the writers have realized the complaints with the deaths of people not meaning anything and things will change about that. As shown from this season, they have stopped with the whole Claires Miracle Blood story to bring people back.
Oh come on, Johnny. ------------- Say, was that "present day" Arthur who took the "light" from Hiro? That scene got me a bit confused.
This episode rocked!! 1. Ando's power is awesome. 2. Peter finally has a power so maybe he'll stop being a puss. 3. It looks like the show is veering toward the future that was seen in "Five Years Gone." I found this episode to be one of the single best of the season.
So, yeah... I don't really like Nathan. I loved Ando's ability, it is so damn cool. I definitely didn't see that one coming. Well, I kind of knew he was going to get one eventually, but I hadn't expected something this creative. Wow, so much to look forward to. Volume 4 is going to be sick.
