I just got an lg env2, and its supposed to be able to sync up with wmp, but even after installing the drivers for my phone, it still tells me that the phone isn't connected to my computer, when it quite clearly is via usb. Verizon isn't answering my email, and calling tech support is really the last thing I want to do. Anyone know a way to get this to work. I really want music on my phone.
I'm not sure if this applies for your phone, but my phone has a setting where you can enable/disable USB connection. You might want to look into that.
This is the problem. My phone has a setting for that, and it's an LG, albeit a really old one. Definitely look into that, Jen. If your menus are the same as mine, follow this: - Settings - PC Connection - and here, switch it from "Closed" (or whatever it's on) to "USB"
Yeah, I have an LG Voyager and you have to change the setting on the phone for it to get recognized as well.
I can't find a PC Connection setting. =( I found something about usb mass storage, it was already on, and then something about music syncing, that was already on too. Sigh. I will just end up bringing my laptop and my phone to Verizon and telling them to get it to work. P.S. WMP isnt the problem, I have the newest version of it.
