I am. I just hope to make it down to buy my ticket this afternoon, so I don't have to stand in line in the rain tonight.

I know a couple people who are going to go see it tonight.

And when they tell me how horrible it was tomorrow, I'll laugh at them for wasting gas and money. :p

If those are people who liked the book then do you think they would actually admit it was horrible?

Actually, yes. Most of my friends hate movies based on books, yet they insist on seeing them anyway. They'll tell me whether or not it was good; that's half the reason they're going anyway.

That's awesome. So they're going to the movie to come back and to complain then?

Probably. They're not very smart.

But hey, if it turns out it's good, then that's sweet then.

I was debating whether to see it at midnight but then I decided not to due to having too much pride, lol. I think I'm seeing it Saturday or Sunday, even though the reviews I've been reading have been trashing the movie.

The premiere was at 21:00 pm here (that's 4 minutes ago :(). I haven't finished the book yet, so I didn't go.

I don't really care what everyone is saying about the movie, I'm literally dying to see it.

I really enjoyed it. It was sweet at points, and really funny at others. I was surprised there wasn't more screaming teenies, but at midnight on a school night, there wasn't that many. The theater was packed solid though, there wasn't a single empty seat.

I thought for a book to movie adaptation, it was well done. Jasper was interesting. The actor who played him really did look like he was in pain through the entire movie.

I can almost bet that when you see the scene in the biology class, when Edward reacts badly to Bella's scent, you will laugh. It was perfect.

Am I the only one who has seen it so far? I really want to talk about it more, but I don't want to give anything away.

the reviews i've seen have basically said it's good...if you're a 16 year old girl. that actually sums up how i see twilight as a whole.

Hmm, I am old enough to be the mom to a 16 year old girl, and I thought it was really good. To each their own I guess.

well there are exceptions, but I think it would be hard to argue against its target audience being teenage girls. I'm not trying to knock anyone for liking it.

I just think its funny when just because the male lead is a cute guy, and teenage girls go crazy over him, all the critics instantly bash the movie. Take Titanic for example, it got some really horrible reviews, and it won 11 Oscars.

Just saw it, I thought they adapted it very well for capturing good points.

The cast was portrayed perfectly in my opinion and I REALLY hated all the teenie 12 year olds, but it comes with the territory I guess.

    So...I...have mixed feelings.

I had WAY too high expectations. Go to the movie just thinking to enjoy yourself. Don't go in thinking that it's going to capture the book in a perfect way and make you squee. I was thoroughly disappointed.

There were parts that I absolutely loved and that WERE right out of the book, but one of the scenes at the end just ruined that for me completely.

And it felt really rushed. And they cut a lot out. And if you weren't familiar with the book it seemed kinda random and all over the place, I think. I was trying to see it as someone who hadn't read the book and I know I would've been confused had I not read each of the books several times each.

Still mixed feelings. I liked parts, and was really pissed about others. They could have done much better with this.
