Pro: I can be a very good place to learn about new music, movies, etc. (culture in general) It can be an outlet for your opinions (whether or not it's a healthy one that's another issue) You can meet new people and learn about other countries. You can learn English quite quickly. Pr0n. ... Con: Waste of time. No exercise. You can easily get sucked in. Lose contact with friends in real life. Watch out what you click: there are some weird freaking sites out there that you don't want to see or know about, probably. ... It's not real life, basically.
does anyone know a well known psychologist or sociologist that talked about how technology was bad for us and it was going to destroy us or something of that kind?
The main con to the internet is that their isnt any kinda of single entirty policeing it, anybody can access anything from Bomb making to Phedophilia. Anyone of the Pro's to the internet can also be a con. You should find the problem of a lack of things to write about on this topic

Pros — Virtually limitless information Loads of entertainment Music, movies and TV shows at your fingertips Meeting friends you wouldn't have otherwise met Cons — AOL
It depends on what kind of angle you're trying to get on it really. Music businesses would say that the internet is bad because they lose profit from downloads however the general public would probably say that it's great because you can download free music by anyone. I'm sure there's an argument for and against pretty much everything on the internet, it just depends how you look at it.
