I recommend it over most metalcore these days. Killswitch Engage's self-titled album and Alive or Just Breathing are two of the best albums I've ever heard, honestly. That's not to say Howard-fronted Killswitch isn't good. I just prefer Jesse-fronted Killswitch.
Maybe Weezer with Matt Sharp. Not necessarily their original lineup but their original bassist at least.
I actually can't stand KSE with Jesse on vocals. I LOVE Howards vocals and lyrics and cannot wait for their next album. As Daylight Dies is legendary in my book.
The original line-up consisted of a completely different guitarist and drummer. The guitarist died and the drummer left. John Frusciante came in and after BSSM he left to do drugs for a few years. They had Dave Navarro come in for one album and the John came back for the next 3.
In my opinion Howard is far more unique, and easily one of the most powerful live vocalists I've ever heard. The only stronger live singers I can think of right now are Bruce Dickinson of Iron Maiden and... Actually that's it.
Oh, I like the both of them, I just prefer Howard. Jesse can scream better, but his singing voice isn't really that great. Howard can do both quite well in my opinion, and his live voice is amazing.
