    One can make any game seem amazing through the use of a well-made trailer. Look at Halo 2. As far as many are concerned, that game was a complete joke, yet the trailer made it seem like the Second Coming of Jesus. And honestly, I don't think it looks as great as you've been saying, but I'm more interested in the gameplay anyway.

    Exactly.

    Crystal Dynamics has given Tomb Raider a much needed make over and they've done a great job thus far but to claim it's going to outshine every game of 2008 based on a trailer is a bold statement. Especially this year... considering in the last couple months alone we've seen such a great line-up of titles from Fallout 3 to Gears of War 2, Resistance 2, Fable 2, LittleBigPlanet and so on, Underworld is going to have to pull out something amazing to be dubbed Game of the Year.

    That's not to say I'm not excited. The demo was fun (once I learned what I was supposed to do) and the visuals are absolutely gorgeous. I just hope it plays well because that's most important.

    I'm not knocking you, Derek. I understand how much faith you have in CD and Underworld. I hope that faith pays off and we get one hell of a Tomb Raider game. :D
