If you own your own business, you can set dresscodes and your own policies for entry. There's a bar in Texas who won't let anyone wearing Christian crosses enter the building.
In Canada we were forced to learn French for six years. I barely know any of it, never even begun to be able to speak it, and wish I did not have to waste so much time.
I chose to learn Japanese at school. I'll be honest, I haven't used it much at all since I have finished school, but I think there is nothing wrong with studying another language. It's interesting to learn about other cultures. And we got to make a heap of Japanese food, it was real yum!
Ha ha i can talk in Spanish with my friends and my parents have no idea what we're saying. But anyways everyone tells me that learning Spanish or some sort of foreign language will help me get a job, help me "do good in life." But I think what Dean said about the "Bro Code" was funny.
Foreign languages are cool, but they can be a bitch to learn and after you graduate you basically forget them if you don't speak them regularily. I think learning English is very important, because a lot of people understand it.I'm not that big a fan of the Roman languages, though. I've had French class for 8 years and I'm truely glad that's over. I won't even bother learning Spanish. I think those languages are unlogical and quite frankly, just noisy. I enjoyed studying German, but I never really got far, I'd prefer Art class over German, any day. Studying Chinese might be a good idea concerning work, but that language is just ridiculous and I don't think I will need it at all. Oh, and Dean, you're a liar, you always seduce me with your British words.
Haha you wouldn't believe how logical Roman languages seem compared to Slavic languages. In Slavic languages some things make no sense at all and seem just so random that it's not even funny.
