Hahaha, actually that's debatable. Granted, a fair amount of his stand-up material is based upon race but there is actually more to being a comedian than that. I'm pretty sure it'd be hard to find very many comedians with a better delivery than him for a start, and I'm sure that if he were exactly the same person besides being white he'd still be intelligent enough to find something funny to write about.
I'm sure this has already been posted, but here it is if it hasn't: Palin Prank Call Unfortunetly, this highlights her inability to comprehend a conversation (the pranksters talk about clubbing baby seals with her, and the "documentary" Nalin' Palin), while he seems to agree away.
Okay, yeah, I should be clear. He may still have been able to make it as a comedian, but his actual career, material wise, would be really different. And he may have not gotten his "big break" too, as a lot of that is a pretty fragile moment I think. I don't mind him, I just wish he could be funny without using the fact that he is black so often. He's got some great stuff too though. That said, I don't find his delivery real special. I hope you guys (ie. Americans in general) make the right choice tomorrow. Your elections affect the entire world, so please.... Don't vote McCain!
Obama is not the saint everyone makes him out to be. McCain is not the devil everyone makes him out to be. Neither are the solution. There is no solution. Times like these is how the goverment makes their money, and most importantly, demonstrate their power over us. They aren't going to change anything. But, hey, rejoice. Because, either way, come next January history will be made. On one side, you have Palin, which was only 88 years in the making. Then, you have Obama, which only took 143 years. woo.. go america.
Finally. Also. There is no "right" choice. It's whoever you believe will suit your ideas best; Mr.Harlz. Picking lesser of two evil is still evil, why pick either evil in the first place? Obama or McCain, they both could be the right choice. (Or a third-party) It's just whoever that person happens to be going for. And I do like that last line, "they aren't going to change anything"
I will make a statement right now: If you do not vote, do not bitch if the country goes even further into the shitter with the next president, because you did nothing to influence who got into office. Thank you. That is all.
I thought this vid was particularly funny. And quite an excellent use of split screen, I must say. EDIT: It's also a bit one-sided, so be warned.
I don't really get this. If you believe all the viable candidates are not going to help the country any, so you don't vote, why can't you still wish there WAS a candidate who could help and who you could feel honest in voting for? And if you can do this, then why are you not allowed to complain on the current administration which do you chose not to vote in because, like it's competition, you thought it would be harmful?
