    I heard something about a goalie tripping over the carpet that was laid down for Palin. I'd say that's a curse or maybe just the goalie being really fucking dumb, lol.

    Yeah, the Rays are the underdogs, Derek. The 2008 season was their first winning season in franchise history, aside from their first postseason appearance.

    True, and we did get our asses kicked last night. But we rebounded. If it was a curse, it was just temporary. :lol:

    And I do find it funny that a goalie, who gets hit with sticks and pucks, and gets knocked into by players constantly throughout a game gets injured by tripping on carpet

    This is the first time the Rays have ever made the playoffs and they made it to the world series. I wouldnt say the Phillies deserve it more because they havent been there in 15 years. Personally, it doesnt matter to me who wins.

    Every poll I've seen has people saying they think the Rays will take it. Even announcers seem to lean towards the Rays a bit.

    I wanna prove all those people wrong.

    That's the way I look at it. It doesn't matter to me who wins, but no team "deserves" to win a World Series. The better team is going to win.

    The Indians haven't won a World Series in 60 years. The Cubs haven't won one in a hundred. But neither of them "deserve" to win it.
