So my band has a couple songs we wanted to add to myspace and one worked fine yet the other got an author vaildation error. I've tried quite a few times and keep getting the same error. I complained to myspace but got an ordinary myspace reply to say the least. Anyone know anything?
An "author validation error" means they can't prove you're the author. I don't know what you should do, though, aside from changing the title or something like that.
mm... i could try that i guess. But the other one worked fine and it was under the same band name. The song name shouldn't matter should it? Half a gazillion bands probably have songs with the same names. But i will try that. EDIT: I changed the name and now it says 'Unknown Error Occurred'. Piece of shit that myspace is.
MySpace Music hasn't been the best lately. I have a track up that won't finish processing. It's been there for some number of weeks now.
I really don't know what to tell you, my band's uploaded 2 songs in the past month (one of them just a couple days ago) without any problems. But I know Myspace has been working on their whole music/artist thing for a while, so it's bound to be glitchy I guess.
