Newcastle where really unlucky tonight.. there 10 men looked better than Man City (who where having an of day by all accounts) for a major spell in the game a fair enough result i'd say taking everything into consideration... and it WASNT a penalty - opinions anyone??
I know...what the hell? Then again at the Dennis Bergkamp testimonial a few years ago I remember thinking that he could still play pretty well. He still has his pace and skill so I guess why not? He retired much too early anyway even if he does have a bad knee.
Wow goals are flying in everywhere. Villarreal 6-3 AaB Man. United 3-0 Celtic Bayern 3-0 Fiorentina Steaua 3-5 Lyon Fenerbahçe 2-5 Arsenal Porto 0-1 Dynamo Kyiv Zenit 1-1 BATE Juventus 2-1 Real Madrid 36 goals in 8 matches. An average of 4.5 per match
Damn you Gitsnik, i was just about to post that A big woohoooo for Man UTD, to start with ^^ Of all those great matches the stupid sport channel chose to air Arsenal and FND's match but i was in the mood, so i watched it anyway. Was almost ridiculous how many goals there were, but oh well it was a well-deserved win, that i must admit. Though Fenerbahçe's last goal was a total disaster >< .. But all in all it was a pretty good match. I was actually supposed to be studying, i did learn one thing from tonight, though: attempting to study while watching a football match is plain stupid
Brilliant result but we were shite defensively. Had Fenerbahce taken more chances the result could have been alot different. Overall the lads played really well tonight though. Diaby's versatility is amazing...he's played so many posistions since joining us and hasn't really put a foot wrong. It was great to see Ramsey get his first goal for us aswell.
Hartlepool did it again! 2-3 down (AT HALF TIME) and we looked like they were going to on and get more once the second kicked off.. but super comeback kids Pools had other thoughts! long story short it was 5-3!! mint game!! something needs to be done with the refeers though, he was shocking last night.. he got away with it.. but dear me - some off his decisions where terrible cant put a downer on an eight goal thriller though useless fact for you guys now.. in the last three home games Pools have scored 14 and conceded 11 - if you wana see goals.. get your ass down to good old Victoria Park and watch a decent game of footie!!
PSV - Marseille should be interesting to watch. Bordeaux 1-0 CFR Cluj Chelsea 1-0 Roma Internazionale 1-0 Anorthosis Panathinaikos 2-2 Bremen Shakhtar 0-1 Sporting Basel 0-5 Barcelona Atlético 1-1 Liverpool PSV 2-0 Marseille
meh, thats true but if he wanted to keep walking he had to stop playing frequently im guessing, my dad had a similar injury sometime ago
always thought Diaby was a bit flat though IMO. he doesnt really defend or really attacks, its really difficult to see where he actually fits in and how he is supposed to play
Carew was at the Rocket club all night before the Ajax game. Then he said he was too tired to play. Damn, haha.
What the fuck?! I wake up to find that Ramos has been sacked from Tottenham and Harry Redknapp is the new manager... I think Harry will regret it though. I first thought Spurs were gonna do really well this season but I'm starting to think they'll be lucky to get 15th place. Then again he saved Portsmouth...
They replaced Berbatov and Keane with Pavlyuchencko and Campbell. nuff said. If that director of football is still there it probably won't be long before Redknapp resigns or something to that effect.
