People in this fucking city need to learn how to drive.

I had to stop somewhere on the way home from work today, meaning I had to take a route I don't normally take, I-70 westbound from downtown St. Louis, which takes you right past the airport. There was a plane that just took off, and people are slowing down, on the fucking highway, to look. What the hell is wrong with you people? Never seen a plane before? A low flying plane might get my interest if there wasn't a major airport within 20 miles, or especially at the next goddamn exit. C'mon people! Pretend the plane isn't there and keep driving. This is 2008. Airplanes are nothing new. And to make matters worse, it was one of the smaller regional jets. I would've understood, and slowed down myself, if it was something like the new Airbus A380, but it's a god damn tiny, uncomfortable regional jet, which, when you fly, I recommend you avoid at all costs. I hate those things, but not as much as I hate this city's fucking drivers.

I'm glad my normal drive home from work is on I-44 which is on the opposite side of town as the airport (although even then, I've seen people slow down to look at things like a guy cutting the grass on the areas next to the highway)

I thought for sure we were going to get robbed in the ninth inning for a second. Thank god that wasn't the case!
