Get some fresh-air and...breathe, then go rest early if you can.

If not....Well, it helps to make a late-night pbj sammich.

 

I get to see my bestie again tomorrow, and probably friday too. Planning a weekend trip to Sacramento for her birthday. YAY.

Actually there is a lot of speculation that the planet that Cortana and the Master Chief are drifting toward in the final cinematic of Halo 3 is the Shield World from Halo: Ghosts of Onyx.

I'm betting there is going to be some ridiculous plot where the Master Chief is going to have to find out how to rescue the squad of Spartans trapped in the Shield World, and that he's going to end up running into surviving Forerunners or running around on more Forerunner constructs.

Either way, there's a lot they could do with the game.

For all we know, it could just end up being a basic squad-based FPS where you've got to quell civil wars or something like that.

 

I'm actually still feeling the initial buzz.

 

I read somewhere that it is HIGHLY rumored to not even include playability as the chief.

More like stuff happening while he's gone and whatnot.

Also I would like the idea of that being the shield world. Since I finished reading that book I always wondered what happened with them being left on it alone.

 

I've always relished in the idea of playing as a squad of Spartans. I think that's why I'm going to love Halo Wars, because you're going to get to play with squads of Spartan-Is (the precursor to Spartan-IIs). I plan on buying the game and I don't even own an Xbox 360.

 

I hate it when people mention places I've never heard of.

"Upon the Shores" has to be the best song Metallica never wrote. Which is weird, since I normally despise Trivium writing Metallica-ish songs.


Still, I'm glad it wasn't on the regular album tracklisting in place of one of the existing ones.
