My son's name is Merric and my daughters name is Donatella. They are 4 and 7 now. I am still at a loss as to where the time went. It feels like yesterday sometimes that they were that little..

Time does fly by, even for them.

 

Thanks again. I took a lot of time choosing their names, I didn't want them to be in school and be confused when someone called out Jessica or David, or what ever else. I wanted them to have less common, at least in this country, names then everyone else.

The only really negative thing I have heard is "Donatella? Is she named after a Ninja Turtle?" I even had a friend of mine call me in the hospital after 22 hours of labor and a emergency csection to ask me "You didn't name her that did you??" Needless to say, he got hung up on.

 

I just thought the call was dropped

Those are uncommon names - i like them though
