The old Turok fps games were great as well. I haven't played the new one much but it doesn't seem quite so good. And the N64 Zelda games obviously. A-mazing.
amen! nothing beats playing Goldeneye or WWF No Mercy until 4 in the morning. back then it seemed like such a feat, now it's just another hour on the clock for me. My mom would buy us a 24pk of mt. dew and order 4 lg pizzas from dominos and me and my bro and a couple of my friends would stay in the basement for the entire weekend only stopping to maybe use the bathroom or get a small nap in. oh those were the days
The Legend Of Zelda: Majoras Mask is still my all time favorite game. Golden Eye, ahh I have some good memories on that game it WAS a great party game, along with Starfox 64. and I never got far on Banjo Kazooie but it was fun. N64 is my most nostalgic console with all the great games.
My 64 is broken at the mo' but I plan on looking on eBay for a new ("new") one some time soon since I've got, like, 60 games. I love the Zelda franchise and the Turok franchise. You also can't beat Mario Kart 64.
WWF No Mercy (the new wrestling games just don't do it for me anymore..no matter how good looking they are) Super Smash Bros. (fuckin classic, but rendered useless after Melee XD ) Mario Kart 64 (fun as hell still) Super Mario 64 (first 3d adventure game I had completed ) Mario Party 3 Golden Eye ( ODDDJOBBBBBB ! ) Perfect Dark To this day, my buddies and I still have a few rounds of Goldeneye every couple of months just for shits and giggles.
Even though I havent played Goldeneye in YEARS!!! I bet I can still Poon on the game... i'm proud that I was a kid when the best Era of video games were coming to rule the world... Nothing beats the endless hours of Nintendo, Sega, and Playstation. Having friends over all the time... better than Online play like Xbox live. but hey that's all we can do now. Many people don;t come over no more, because its more convenient to play online...*sigh*
I still have mine of course. Super Smash Brothers, Pokemon Snap, Golden Eye, Banjo Kazooie, Mario Kart, The Ocarina of Time.. classic.
I had all of those as well and I can't believe I completely forgot about Pokemon Snap! That was such a cheesey game at first but for some reason I still play it if I turn my N64 on. It is REALLY fun. I remember all the secrets and how getting a picture of Mew was the coolest thing ever. The best I ever got was a full body shot with Mew in the middle, cept from his backside so I couldn't see his face
