Shit, that was scary. Going around a roundabout today I hit a big puddle of standing water. Car kicked sideways at around 70km/h (43mph). Thankfully I kept it under control with some opposite lock, but hell. Scary, but strangely fun.



On an altogether crappier note, I think I'm falling for one of my closest friends.

Shit. I hate migraines. Second one this week. This one took all day from recover and I barely ate anything and it took three strong painkillers to get rid of it.

Do you think it would be worth bringing it up in conversation with her?

 

To be honest, I'm not too sure. She knows I used to have a "crush" on her, but I don't know how she actually feels about that. And it's one of those situations I'd feel like killing myself (not literally) if I messed up our friendship.

I gather you've been through a similar situation?

 

Yeah. It actually seems pretty similar, in regards to her knowing about you having a crush on her at one point.

If you feel really strongly towards her in that way, and if you think you'd be able to remain as friends if it's not mutual, generally it would probably be best to find an opportunity to tell her, or at least start hinting more towards it if you haven't already been. If you just try to hide it you could end up in a bad situation with her then, as well.
If you're considering doing that and there's someone who actually knows both you and her that you feel comfortable divulging this with, you should probably ask them whether it would be a good idea though, as obviously the results might be different from person to person.

 

Well, it's good to know someone in a similar scenario. I think the hinting might be a good idea, I mean, I've already asked her to go with me to Soundwave, and she's said yes (i.e. just us and not part of a big group), so yeah. Thankfully my best friend is also pretty good friends with Tarryn (the girl), so I might bring it up with her.

Today was one of "those days" you really like even though you don't quite know why .. It was so very nice, i really enjoyed it ..

I've had something similar happen to me, except instead of standing water I slipped on the paint lines in the road going around a bend doing about 60mph.

It catches your attention really fast. Glad you hung onto it though, standing water isn't a fun game, either.
