What movies did you recently watch?

The Promotion - 9/10. Pretty good movie with some funny parts. The acting was great

American Crude - 5/10. Weird movie. I felt like it was too random for its own good.

28 Weeks Later - 7/10. Decent movie.

Reign Over Me - 10/10. I just love this movie and it's definitely one of my favorites of all time.

 

Bangkok Dangerous - 6/10

Interesting film...
Dark and gritty filming. Beautiful naked Thai woman. Nicolas Cage's "what-a-frickin-eyesore" hairdo. All in all, a somewhat pointless film once you reach the end. There's a moral in this film; I don't know what it is.

 

The Jacket

Really trippy. About a man who is wrongly imprisoned for a crime he didn't commit and pleads insanity. Gets locked up in mental hospital. They put a straight jacket on him, experiment LSD on him and lock him up in a morgue cabinet for hours at ends. He trips out and sees the future and predicts his own death.

8/10.

 

Last night I saw Pan's Labyrinth..I love this movie! 9/10!

EXCELLENT Acting all around, even Jack White was awesome (and a nice surprise)
Beautiful story about Love during the American Civil War and it truly showed how desperate people got back in those times and just how the towns turned into..Ghost Town's with all the men gone.

 

Constatine

It's been a while since I've watched it but it's well worth the watch. Keanu Reeves walking inside the Midnight's nightclub with Passive by A Perfect Circle blaring wa quite a nice scene. The whole demons VS angels things and how John Constantine justifys his asshole ways was quite hilarious.

They call it balance I call it hypocritical bullshit

Silent Hill 7/10

I was scared shitless again, as I haven't seen it for a while now (am hiring out a bunch of random videos from Civic Video $1 each how's good is that for a weekly?). I've been told the game is better but my friend did point out to me that they used the same music from the game. I jumped a couple of times. It took me a while to realise that they had died in the car crash *lol* I was having a slow day.

I love the highway scene! But the ending was stretched and I was finding myself getting anxious for the movie to end.

Naomi Watts' best movie. Samara creeped me out.
