Is this the best Linkin Park song ever? It's one of the bands favorites I'm sure, and Mike always says, during shows "This next song is for you oldschool Linkin Park fans". Mike has also said that Papercut was the perfect example of a typical Linkin Park song. What I think: It has a simple yet ear-catching intro (I love that beat), wicked rhymes by Mike in the verses, a powerful chorus and an even more powerful bridge, and a perfect ending. Also, I think the video is absolutely AWESOME! The only thing that bothers me about that is the way Chester is dressed, even though it fits the video well. I absolutely love this song. It's one of my top 3 favorite Linkin Park songs of all time. It's a classic.
I think "Papercut" and "Lying From You" are the prototypes for LP, but also ones that showcase their talent the best. I guess this is why these two are my favorites
Yeah thats the way I feel about it too. I also think like the tempo of the song shows that strongly too.
Yeah I reckon! The bridge is so much different than the rest of the song I think, but still it fits in so perfectly. Like the verses are sort like creepy, and the chorus is like fun and powerful. The bridge is sort of more emotional, but I think it's so cool how it fits in with the rest of the song so beautifully. Papercut is absolutely wicked played live
It's good, not one of my favourites though, and I'd say In The End is the definitive Linkin Park song myself.
I dont know its juz LP has really lots of good and great songs but i can't deny the fact that Papercut is one of a kind.haha
Well theres certainly no doubt about Papercut being a great song. Everything is unquie about it, and hardly any other LP song sounds like it. Though i wouldnt' say it was THE best, certainly one of the best. However in my opinion "Part Of Me" is LP's devinitive song. It's even more epic & powerfull. though thats just my opinion
