http://thinkprogress.org/2008/08/15/exxon-owns-media/ I'm sure this won't stifle objectivity whatsoever...
I'm pretty sure now that the media isn't free press. to us, it's free, but biased. GG, in short. Didn't Bush help Exxon mobil? I have a feeling that he's also behind this, behind closed doors.
Well, there's the obvious inference that I alluded to of how it affects media objectivity. Energy has been a big issue in this campaign, and having such a huge oil company providing advertising dollars to a number of major news networks doesn't instill much confidence in said-networks coverage of the election. It's a very telling sign of big oils influence over our daily lives (not as if that wasn't apparent already, but I digress).
w00t, I'll be going to Obama's VP announcement in Springfield, IL on Saturday. It's only about a 2 hour drive for me, so I figured what the hell. I'll go.
www.barackobama.com - Joe Biden is Obama's running mate, it's official. Thoughts? I kinda think this is a bit of a mistake on Barack's part, honestly.
Hell yeah, Biden! A Delaware VP! This is the most exciting thing to happen to this state...ever. Somebody pinch me. I've met him and heard him speak twice in person. He's an excellent pick. I'm so happy and satisfied, lol.
Oh goddamnit. Now I really wish I could vote. And since everyone thinks that McCain is picking Romney as his veep,it's pretty guarenteed that Obama/Biden is going to win. Stupid being 18 after the election
