Opinion: Hairy arms

I've got a pretty average amount of hair on my arms, I'd say. I'll probably never shave it or wax it or anything like that. I just fail to see the point.

Now if a lady looked like she had half the Amazon Rain Forest on her arms, I'd probably ask her to wear a sweater or something. That's just gross.

 

never shaved my arms and never will....i've got hair on my arms but it's not like, like Willstar said, a rain forest....it's blonde and it's barely seeable

 

I never shave my arms. I have very little to shave off =( but my skin is very soft lol, so yea.

On a girl, if you had ALOT of arm hair, it'd be nice to shave, once in a while.

 

Same here. Personally, shaving your arms is effing weird. And then once you do it, it comes back dark, prickly, and ugly, and you have to shave it every day, unless you want prickly arms. Sounds like a useless pain in the ass.

But that's just me.

As Derek said, I also think it's fine for guys to have arm hair, because it's natural. But if they want to shave their chest/abs, that's okay. Josh does it. Although, after it's been a day, it's quite uncomfortable when we're intimate, so, yeah. Again, all this shaving nonsense is silly.

Think before you type. I've been shaving my arms since I was...11 I think? It's still blonde and soft. I just think it's gross to have hair anywhere than on your head. So, you know...it doesn't come back ugly at all. <.<

 

so why would you want thicker ends due to the hair being freshly cut..leave it uncut & the ends are thinner & less noticable...

 

They are not thicker as in 'prickly'. When you cut your hair on your head, the ends are not prickly either, but still a little bit thicker than uncut endings.

And like I said, I like to be smooth all over so I think it's disgusting to have hair other than on your head. But it's all a personal choice ofcourse, but don't come and tell me that 'it turns dark, prickly and ugly'.

 

If shaving made your hair thicker, then middle-aged men would be getting buzz-cuts to prevent balding.

Hairy arms that resemble grizzly bear arms are a bit disgusting ! In this case, the boy/girl should do something about it!

I made my assumption that it would come back 'dark, prickly, and ugly' because anywhere else you shave, it does. Like the very first time you shave your legs, you shave off the nice soft blonde hair, and it comes back dark and prickly.

I have dark coloring because of my different ethnicities (native american, african american, and middle eastern can do that), but it doesn't come back spikey for me
