I fail to see the hypocrisy in Todd's post. Unless you mean the pro-capitalism line, which isn't really valid since he wasn't the one saying to not judge a book by it's cover.

If things dont get better then we have four years of Congress doing what they do best, which is nothing, to look forward to. I think he will be fine. And as shocked as some of you may be to read this....I actually like Obama and if the election were held today or tomorrow, he has my vote. I just want to hear more about his plans for turning things around. I'm sure you may have heard he plans to have his acceptance speech at Invesco Field instead of the Pepsi Center next month in Denver (if the weather is good). I got goosebumps when they reported that.

As for impeaching Bush.....on what charge? And being a dimwitted, C student from an Ivy League school who cant speak to save his life is not a chargeable offense.

I was actually hoping you were a Ron Paul supporter, these days, since he's gone, Obama's supporters don't shock me. 2012 seems quite far away from November 08. People of America need to get more poltically active, and question more often. Since Obama's going to change America, Will he release quite some Secret files to the public? Stop having this Somewhat omniscient Shadowy Government? Reinforce our borders at home, rather than millitary base's in other countries ( like Korea, Vietnam, Japan, ect )? Bush can be impeached due to international Law being broken, and use of very mean weapons. What will America do if It's hope ( Obama ) Fails to have any real good change?

I support errr...supported Dr Paul. He got my vote in the Cali primary.

My biggest hope with Obama is that he does open up or better yet, shake up how government is messed up. Can he do it one term, certainly not but it is a start and that is something we should all be hoping for right now.

And I agree about closing our overseas bases. I say bring all our ships and personnel home, reinforce our borders and watch the rest of the world deteriorate. It may be smug to say this but in the interim while China figures out their role in the world as a Super Power, the world still depends on the US. Should we crawl back into a shell and isolate ourselves like we did 100 years ago, certainly not. But, we need to stop being everybody's police force and take care of business at home for once.

 

Or.....he could have had his cronies break into Kerry's office before the 2004 election.
