Official Nine Inch Nails Thread

Lots of exciting NIN tour stuff going on at the official site, for anyone who hasn't noticed - a tour sampler, the tour's official name, new art... I'm pumped to finally be seeing them live for the first time in a few months.

 

I love that I can home home sick from work, worrying Jay so much that he wanted to bring me to his house and not home, and still be pleasantly surprised by a notice on my Facebook from NIN about the sampler.

How spiffy.

WTF happened to the other new guy?

 

I still think Hadouken! should open for NIN, and not Deerhunter.

I approve of this post and STRONGLY agree.

 

That's like trying to compare Limp Bizkit to Deftones.

 

In regards to the bands that Trent has picked out, they're mostly connected. DIOYY? has Hadouken! listed on their friends list, and Hadouken! has Crystal Castles in the bands they listen to.

It just makes more sense, considering the music style of NIN over the years.

 

I don't know what you're snorting, Rachel, but I think Deerhunter is clearly the best band of the supporting acts, right behind A Place to Bury Strangers, and definately above Does It Offend You, Yeah? and those plagiarizing fucks Crystal Castles.

 

I really don't have any opinions of the supporting acts, but I will say Crystal Castles definitely shouldn't be on the tour, what with the copyright infringement they participate in.

You can have them for your show, I just wanna see DIOYY open here.

 

I really don't see the big deal about DIOYY. They're garbage, I think.

 

I'm not the mellow monotonous droning Indie person, myself. I'm a loud obnoxious electronic dancecore wtf you want to call it person.

Thus my disdain for Deerhunter and love for DIOYY.

 

I don't really like either band a lot, in regards to the Hadouken/Deerhunter thing.
