Favorite Movie Genre

What is your favorite movie genre that you like the most and why?

I favor horror because I like movies to freak me out, lol.

 

I also favor horror films. I just love movies with a creepy atmosphere that make you feel uneasy, haha. I think a good scary movie sticks with you longer.

Comedy would be a close second, though.

Generally I enjoy a good comedy the most, then maybe dramas and certain horrors.

 

Comedy movies do it for me i do like a good old laugh every now and again..

 

Comedy movies because they make me laugh but most of all, they're light to take and they always make you feel better.

Fantasy's are very very close to comedies though.

 

I LOVE horror movies. I love movies that get into your head and make you think "I know this couldn't be real, but what if it is?" From the Japanese Horror movies I've seen I have to say I find them way better than American horror films. Horror films do not scare me personally, but they intrigue me. I've always had this strange calling to dark subjects. (no I don't do dark things) I write some horror so it's only natural that it's my favorite Film genre.

Next is Action/Fantasy/Triller/Comedy/Drama.

 

Action Sci-fi... stuff like Children of Men, Minority Report, The Island, etc... not stuff like Star Trek or Star Wars.

 

I'll enjoy any type of drama movie, so long as it's got a great plot.

 

I guess I really favor action movies.

It's exciting, and I love the thrill.

 

Horrors and thrillers are number one for me. Then it's comedies (not like Superbad or any of the "Movie" movies). Fantasy is in there somewhere as well. And sci-fi. Overall though, horrors and thrillers are at the top.

 

Fantasy movies or anime....such a difficult choice!
