lol dunno if this is bizarre....but my playlist could be LP followed by some Armin Van Buuren or VnV Nation then maybe some John Williams or Hans Zimmer then some Lil Wayne followed by In Flames the I'll go back to Clint Mansell and some Jeff Buckley or Alexi Murdoch. Throw in a little Death Cab for Cutie in there for good measure.
I just grabbed one of their albums -- not weird at all and melikes. Thanks. lachina - Sounds like my library, except I go from rock to jazz to noise to metal to classical to post-rock to industrial to trance/electronic/etc to experimental, etc etc. It's quite entertaining listening to my library.
In general, I'm a huge fan of acapella music, whether it be choirs, barbershop quartets, vocal jazz, etc...hell, I moonlight as a member of a men's barbershop chorus. Choir was also my favorite class pretty much my entire school career. I'm also a huge fan of ska. Catch 22, Reel Big Fish, Mustard Plug, Streetlight Manifesto, Operation Ivy, old Less Than Jake/Rancid/No Doubt, etc. Zolof is made of epic win. <3
Hm, when I listened to X-Japan before most people were shocked. In general I think a lot of people dislike my tastes but it doesn't really shock them anymore.
I like some music from Anime, computer game music from Unreal Tournament 2004 and some music from the soundtrack of Lord Of The Rings and some other movies. I listened to the music I mentioned more a couple of years ago though.
I guess you could say I like a lot of stuff. But probably my biggest "wut" is either Sara Bareilles or Jurassic 5. I'm sure you all know who Sara Bareilles is at least. (I'm not gonna wriiiiite you a love song, etc) And Jurassic 5 is probably my favorite rap artist that I listen to. (One of the few. =P) They're the perfect blend of old-school rhythms and new-school influence.
I love celtic music, and I love metal. This is AMAZING! I have a lot of Mega Man rock/metal covers. I also love classical type strings.
Simple Plan because people I know raise their eyebrows in confusion when I tell them that I listen to them. *shrugs* And Regina Spektor. She writes pretty damn good lyrics.
Okay, for me, based on 90% of my music tastes, this is THE most bizarre thing I could listen to. Whenever I'm bored, and/or nostalgic, I listen to Sophie B Hawkins. Yeah. It's true.
When people Look at me, they most often than not think " Oh he listens to rap, techno, JPOP/JROCK, rock, or something like that, at weirdest heavy rock" That includes my family, everyones so alienated by the fact that I listen to my music. I listen to Metal, Death, speed, grind, progressive (rock/metal), Groove, Power, Viking, and alittle bit of hardcore. Yeah, They'll be like " Hey You, whatcha listening too? Let me listen!!" The look on their faces when they look at me is like " >: O " So damn funny xD!! The song is actually on their myspace, i recall, http://www.myspace.com/windsofplague - Decimate the weak.
Hmmm. I can go from listening to Mozart, Bach, and alike. To listening to Britney Spears and Miley Cyrus and such. To blasting video game soundtracks from Mario to Halo to other favorites. Then blasting rap like MC Chris to Ludacris, and then playing metal bands such as Dimmu Borgir, Gorgoroth, Children of Bodom, then listen to Aerosmith, Led Zepplin, and then to MSI, Circus of Dead Squirrels, Dog Fashion Disco, then ultimately finishing it off with the blowing of the speakers thanks to... NIGHT OF FIRE! I listen to everything pretty much.
I just got a TSOAF Shirt, for 9 bucks. Its Awesome Third album is called The Ocean And The Sun It is going to be a LOT LIKE Tiger And the Duke, And Anthony is pretty much on every song this time. they realized what works
