A lot of people seem to be a little dssapointed with the more realistic approach. At first, I thought the driving was a little different, but after playing it for ages you get used to it. I quite like it now and do't see a problem with it at all. I quite like it being more "realistic".

Yeah, I'll probably get used to it. The first time I tried driving in it I was expecting to be able to just fly round corners and through oncoming traffic, haha.

I spent a while on it last night about about 6 hours today at my mates and I can safely say it's awesome :D

I think this is the only GTA game where I've actually cared about the lead. Sure Vercetti was pure win, but Niko? I like the seriousness - I like the fact that there is more to him which is actually developed.

The voice acting as a whole is awesome.

So is flying around the islands on a 6 star rating...Ehh heh..

Well, this is funny. Today I decided to look for the Statue of Happiness easter egg, and after I found it, since there was no way down I decided to jump off... and well, when I landed instead of dying I respawned at the statue's feet with a new t-shirt on with "Happiness is..." on the front and "...land" on the back. Anyone else do this/get this? I found it kind of weird since I've failed to land on the statue three times prior.

At the base of the statue is the T-Shirt. I guess you got lucky enough that you landed right on that, since whenever you come into contact with the shirt, it goes to the cutscene where he changes.

Ah, I see. So instead of death, I was rewarded a shirt for my suicide attempt.

And after playing this thing for almost a week, I've come to the conclusion that I actually don't like GTA4 as much as earlier titles. I could rant on and on about the new physics/mechanics but that'd take too much time. It just doesn't feel like GTA anymore. >_<

the only reason it doesn't feel like GTA to me, so far, is because I've yet to find, have sex with, and then kill a hooker afterwards. I've tried to get a hooker, but no success. I am sad. :(

Although, when I went to the strip club with Roman, and I was getting a lapdance from 2 girls, I half expected the game to revert to hardcore porn. It just seemed that way.

I've found hookers in Bohan. They seem to only come out at night.

Just got it. It doesnt look too great on my VGA-cable, not so smooth. It does begin kinda boring, but Im sure it will be much more fun.

    Multiplayer is kickass though.

BTW, if anyone is up for a multiplayer match with a bunch of people on the LPA we should get something going. We tried it for the Halo's but never worked out

Am I the only one who sees a resemblance between Brucie and the "BOOM! HEADSHOT!" Guy?

I mentioned this to my friend the other day. He's definitely based on FPS Doug.

After beating the game yesterday, I think Rockstar did an amazing job humanizing Niko. Giving us some control over just how humanized Niko could be was a great addition as well. In fact, they did too good of a job as the worst I can do to civilians now is beat the crap out of them... but only those that run me over. I have no remorse for those bastards. It seems like everything wrong you can do in Liberty City is discouraged and when you do them anyways, the consequences make you regret it.

I was kind of upset that it took me almost to the end of the game to get used to the controls, but other than that, this was ace. Not revolutionary but a damn good game. :D I'm itching to try online multiplayer but apparently the PS3 online is unstable so I'm going to wait. I haven't tried it yet but hopefully it's as fun as everyone's been saying.
