Haha, one time. Not enough to appease the masses apparently. XD As strange as it sounds, I think this really might actually be YZ2, or Trent's just messing with us, trying to get everyone to run in circles coming up with theories. Perhaps if it truly is YZ2, everyone should wait till the physical release of the album... Just a thought though.
Hmmm... By now there's quite a bit in the "yes this is Year Zero II" column... I'm guessing you're right and the physical release will ahve quite a bit more interesting stuff. Remember "http://" in the YZ booklet? =P
I don't think it's YZ2 per se, but a preface to YZ. I think there is more to be explained in regards to wtf the Presence is, etc etc. However, that DannyJane website just cut off too quickly for the ARG to be over. I don't think it'll be called Year Zero 2 or whatever. It'll probably be something totally different, since 42 Entertainment already shows YZ on their website, meaning the "year zero" ARG is done. No one said the total game was done though. Iunno, I think The Slip is just too...jumpy for it to be YZ2. It explains jack shit
See, what cracks me up is the people expecting anything that continues or elaborates Year Zero to be called "Year Zero 2", or "Year Zero, the Prologue". I don't think it's going to be blatantly obvious, but I do think you're going to be able to tell that it is indeed carrying on with Year Zero.
Year One... *dies laughing* Edit: I dunno if anyone noticed, but I saw this on ETS, checked it out, and it's really true. Listen to Demon Seed, and then listen to Ghosts 38. Sounds like the latter was a demo, or precursor to Demon Seed, amirite?
My deluxe version of Ghosts finally came and boy, aside from a few vinyl records I own, this has got to be one of the most elaborate packages of music I've ever paid for. I was kind of hoping the Blu-ray version was a little less... of a slideshow? It's still awesome though, definitely worth the money.
I don't think Trent's as predictable as to simply make another "Year Zero" album. The concept, both of and in itself, has a lot of potential, as we've seen, and I know Trent's gonna come up with something genius - and I think "The Slip" is just the beginning of this, among other things ... Trent's leaving things open with "The Slip", though; it's not all "Year Zero", obviously.
There's an idea going around ETS that The Slip is about a guy with multiple personality disorders. I'm too lazy to go and get all the quotes from ETS, but let me say, it's pretty solid.
It's cause Trent posts on ETS and has like, at least 2 accounts there to fuck with us. Not to mention a GoonMoon posted the names of two tracks BEFORE Echoplex was even leaked. So ETS has its fair share of conspirators
i'm pretty sure Leo Herrera has an account on ETS. Trent does, obviously, and I also remember at various points in time that Josh Freese, Jeordie White and (i think) either Alan Moulder or Atticus Ross. It feels like I'm missing someone important from the NIN camp that's had an account over on ETS, but those are the ones that I can remember. The Josh Freese one was thought to be a fake, but I think it turned out to be real.
Double post or bump or something. But oh yes. Bought my tickets today =] Section 3 Row 5 =D BE JEALOUS.
i'm still trying to gather some friends to go with me. i'm not making the 3 hour drive to a city i don't know at all by myself. unfortunately for me, most of my friends aren't into NIN like I am. the fuckers.
I'm surprised at how cheap it was, especially through Ticketmaster. $135 for two tickets that close? Dude, it was like $450 for Manson at the same venue in a higher level However, no one cares about Slayer or Manson anymore
*mouth-to-mouth resuscitation* There we go. Just for the hell of it. Damn it, why is nothing happening?!
