So I downloaded a movie, and now I can't watch it, because I don't have an administrator account on this computer. I can't convert it either, at least that I know of, so I don't know what to do. Does anyone have any way that they know of to either get around having to download the codec, or get the video converted? As I said, I don't have an administrative account, so I can't really do much of anything without asking for the priveleges, so no extra downloads, please.
I posted this in GSTUWLO thread but I'll post here also for your convenience. Do you have Media Player Classic, or VLC installed? I know for a fact that you don't have to have administrators rights to install VLC just when it says install to where it says "Program Files' select browse and chose My Documents. Then use VLC to watch the movie. It's what I do when I' m at the library sometimes. Sometimes if you install things into my documents or a new folder on the desktop you can find a loop hole. Like I said, it's how I install things on the library's computer.
i think there is a codec pack you can install that has it so you can play it in Windows Media Player, not sure where is saw it last though.
