Early PA results have Clinton pulling the lead, but it's to be expected. She will win most of the rural parts of Pennsylvania...whereas Obama's strongholds are the college towns and cities like Philadelphia, West Chester etc.
Because most Pennsylvanians are still stuck in the 50's and think a black man can't lead the country. I hate this state, and I think the people here are ignorant as shit.
But it seems that in general the working class hate Obama. Does the working class just tend to be closed minded and ignorant? Or is there something other than his blackness they don't like?
I'm not sure. People seem to think for some reason that Hillary Clinton can bring working class people their jobs back, even though she was a huge champion for NAFTA back in the mid 90's...an idea that has lead to many Americans across the country losing their jobs in the first place. And then she lies and claims she never supported NAFTA. Bullshit honey, your comments are all on the record and the reason Obama still leads you in delegates is because of the fact that most people (apart from ignorant Pennsylvanians) already have seen through your shit.
Oh one other thing. Todd has noted that it is impossible for Clinton to beat Obama no matter what. If so, why would Barrack even continue to campaign against her? Why not just focus on McCain?
Hillary can't catch up to the number of delegates Obama has, but neither can reach the designated amount for the nomination as party leader.
Oh christ's sake Wright, just shut up x_x I'm so proud of Obama for denouncing Wright's comments. The whole "This is not the same man I met 20 year ago" comment was such a zinger. Source= http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20080429/ap_on_el_pr/obama_pastor
Obama has not just denounced his comments, he's now officially denounced Reverend Wright. He will no longer even associate himself with Reverend Wright. http://www.huffingtonpost.com has the scoop. He held a press conference to say that Wright basically disgusts him.
The thing is though, what candidates say and then what they actually do when they come into power are two different things. I'm betting there were people saying Bush would bring around changes like these and look what happened there. From what I've gathered however, Obama looks like the strongest candidate and you can guarantee that whoever does become president will make drastic changes.
Exactly. Of course Obama is going to denounce Wright; not doing so would be political suicide. But whether he really despises his views, or despises him for being so forthcoming about them at a critical time we can't know. Personally, I find it nearly useless to pay attention to politican's rhetoric. When the going get tough, then you'll know what kind of leader you've got.
A funny quote I couldn't help but post here. "Hillary only keeps Bill around because he's her 7th Horcrux"
On a relevant yet meaningless note, Huffington Post has an article showing what each of the candidates would look like after 1 term of Presidency. Link Dumb in theory, mostly because there's no way they'll look THAT old in 4 years (except McCain). Although if I had to choose, Obama probably ages the best in those pictures.
