Before I post the link to this band's Myspace, I'd like to let you know a few things.

Stormbringer was founded in the early 80s, and the band recorded some songs in a studio. However, before the tracks could be mixed, the band broke up. Thus, the songs that you're about to hear are still raw tracks, as is emphasized on the site.

You might or might not like the band, but the bassist is trying to get some songs re-recorded, as well as some possible new material. I just thought maybe I could put this up here to see what kinds of feedback it would get. I truly would like to see what everyone's feedback on this is, because I see a lot of promise in this band.

Again, keep in mind that the tracks are NOT mixed, and the levels on the sound are in some places out of whack. However, just give it a listen, and say what you think.

EDIT: The genre is something like hard rock/arena rock. If the songs are re-recorded, it'll incorporate modern rock as well, but the songs on there are hard rock/arena rock. :)

Sorry to be an arse but next time you post a thread about a band could you add in what sort/genre of music they play. My reasoning is because i like checking out new bands people recommend, but there are certain genres i don't enjoy so i don't want to check out a band of one of those genres i won't enjoy. Seem fair?

Although i will check them out after i listen to the Alestorm album I'm listening to due to there pretty epic band name.

The sound kind of reminds me of X-Japan. I dunno what it is, that makes me think that though.

Well, I know the bassist, and he's never heard of X-Japan. To be honest, neither have I. XD But yeah, I guess that's a good thing, if you like them.

X-Japan are one of my favorite bands of all time, and that's strange cause I only like a few songs that they have but those song i REALLY REALLY REALLY REALLY REALLY love.
