1) It actually contained character development 2) There were actual asians in the movie (Jin in 2 doesn't count). Who are the primary population of street racers in the world? 3) There is actual skill involved in drifting. 4) NO PAUL WALKER Although sometimes I get annoyed when they say, "Oh yeah, Tokyo Drift is the first movie ever to focus on the drifting scene." *coughInitialDcough* The only thing I can complain about is that the movie is set in Japan, and the main characters are a white guy with a country accent, Bow Wow, the love interest who isn't Japanese and the bad ass asian... who dies.
I wasn't attacking the movie dude, it's just that I didn't like it much. And I feel I have the right to my opinion as you have to yours. It's the same way that I don't like FFVII advent children as much as other people do.
I know you're not attacking the movie, I'm just justifying TD in terms of why I think it's better than 1 and 2.
I respect your opinion. I do believe it was better than the 2nd one though, I can't get my head around movie still.
