I guess differences in religion would account for some animosity between animals. Also, Scientology? Not for it, but do you think any animals would be?
I don't know. Do most animals give birth silently? If so, I'm sure they're on their way. But I'm pretty sure they can't afford to join the club though.
Well, "religion" is a rather poorly defined word, but outside of humans, I do not think there is any evidence that animals have anything similar to what we define as "organized religion". That's one thing they've got on us I guess
Those two things just ruled out the Scientology Animal Sect. Most animals don't indeed give birth silently, and they can't afford to shell out that much money to make sure that they're in, and paying for someone's new Hummer.
Ooh, I've got a really good one. You know how some religions require abstinence? Well, what about with cats, dogs, etc. If they're part of that religion, what happens when it's mating time?
Wow. I can't believe I got taken seriously -- and in Random Chat no less. . No, I don't think animals engage in religious behaviors, except maybe the praying mantis. They're so darn pious...
They get neutered. Omar: Yeah, I saw your random idea and was like, ha, that's actually pretty good and decided to make the topic.
I swear on everything my cat is Pagan, or at least respectful about it. If I cast a circle and she walks in the room, she will legit walk around the circle. Or, if she wants to come in, she will wait until I let her come in, and then she will sit patiently, although sometimes she will try to swat at the candle or incense. She's such a good little familiar
it's already questionable if animals are cognitive creatures & the assumption that they've conceived a god is plain ole ridiculous. if anything, man is the god of the animal kingdom...
So can I summon a great flood on the animal kingdom? I do that all the time with ants, but I don't know if I can afford such a task. And BTW, I don't create animals in my own image. Except for the horse. Not all of the horse, just the part where... you know what? Never mind.
