    Apparently he has the same IP address as a previously banned member. He says his brother has/had an account here ages ago, but wasn't banned.

    We do not debate the banning of any members with anyone but the person who was banned. Cale has the right to appeal the banning with an email. This is the last we'll talk of it.

    We are not stupid, and the evidence that proves he was Carl Johnson is overwhelming. He was one warning away from being banned to begin with, and for the record? The 'brother' excuse isn't cutting it.

    His IP was exactly the same, and just like Carl Johnson (a character from GTA which Cale loves) his MSN ID was from the website gtaunderground.com, and the homepage on both profiles were set to that as well. Carl's last post was on January 3rd, 2005...Cale registered a mere 17 days later on January 20th, 2005.

    Both him and Carl were from Sydney, and they were both born in 1987, and that gtaunderground site he linked to? Well that only has about 114 members, so the odds of him being anybody else but that same guy we banned 3 years ago is extremely rare and not much of a possibility.

    Yes we were a little slow to discover this, but our process is completely manual and we can only find such things out unless we have reason to believe this is the case, and thus research it ourselves.

    I would recommend dropping the discussion. Any 'bring back Cale' threads will result in a warning and a point to the person who created them. We're not giving special treatment to any members who re-register on these boards because the rules state not to do so once you were banned, and he did just that.

    End of discussion.
