But it is an April Fool's Joke from IGN. Here's the 'trailer': Makes me laugh and cry at the same time.
That was pretty awesome. Imagine an official production with less-cheesy portrayals and such. My god that would be...well..godly.
I think a Legend of Zelda movie would be the downfall of civilization. No one's going to want to watch a movie where the main character doesn't speak.
I've only read descriptive summaries of the various Zelda games out there, so being fairly opinionated, I'd say that a team could put together a pretty acceptable film, if not epic. So Link does not speak?! In any of the games?! It wouldn't be too bad to make Link speak in a film would it? It wouldn't change much from what I'd assume.. then again I've never played an actual entire game regarding the Zelda series so what do I know
This is another series that would be better off remaining exclusive to that medium, like Hitman and Mario. If you tried to stay faithful it wouldn't work and if you changed certain things it just wouldn't be Zelda.
Totally. It's a typo of it. My sister was IMing, and she typed totally as "ota", because the keys stuck. So we both started using it in place of totally.
I agree. I don't know if they could do a movie adaptation of this without it making it seem and look ridiculous. I think some things should just stay animated [which is why I don't have my hopes up for the Dragonball film] and some, like Zelda, are cinematic enough as video games.
Peter Jackson would do a hell of a job with a Legend of Zelda film. I'd just have Nintendo's writers write the film and the script so I wouldn't have some fucked-up storyline that made no sense.
