stop making predictions that are halfway true! i can't take another release from NIN this half of the year. TOO MUCH MATERIAL. AHHH.
Funny how in the span of 3 years we go from not having enough NIN in our lives to OMFG NINZ R EVRYWEARS! BLAAAAAH
We've become used to the 5 year waiting period. Now it's just like DEAR GOD, TRENT, YOU'RE DROWNING US. It's so worth it
I showed my friend the new NIN album on my laptop, and he said, "What does Ghosts Eye Dash Eye Vee mean?"
ETS has rar files of the folders on their site. I don't remember the specific links, but it's in the ghosts forum in the ghosts (its just called ghosts) thread. Or you can just find the download PDF link on the official ghosts.nin.com website.
It's a great album that needs to be experienced as a whole. I can't see myself listening to it that often just for that reason. You really have to concentrate on it, and my mind is usually elsewhere when i'm spinning some tunes.
What the hell, this hasn't been posted in for 3 days? Well, it's been a week since Ghosts came out, I think it's safe to say that if you have an opinion on the album, it's solidified for now (until a month from now, which may very well change). As we do with all NIN releases, how do you rank them now that Ghosts is around? Here's how my list goes now: 1. Ghosts I-IV 2. Year Zero 3. Still 4. The Fragile 5. Broken 6. The Downward Spiral 7. Pretty Hate Machine 8. With Teeth My views on music have changed since almost a year ago. As much as I love The Fragile, it's just not something I can listen to in one sitting anymore. I can say the same for the top 3, but anything underneath is more of just a few songs per sitting. But Still (hahahahaha), they're all still amazingly good albums. Except PHM is outdated (rerecord the album, Trent! ) and With Teeth is... um, With Teeth. I don't know where YZRemixed would go, but I'll have an opinion on that soon.
1. The Fragile. 2. Ghosts I-IV. 3. Still 4. The Downward Spiral. 5. Broken. 6. With_Teeth 7. Pretty Hate Machine I just hate Pretty Hate Machine. I've never liked it. There are a few good tracks, but to listen to the full cd is just a headache. Being a music and creative writing double major just does not work with PHM. The lyrics, oh god the lyrics.
