I fucking HAAATE Being sick. Im good one day. then the next The Fever and Cough hits harder than ever. I cant even take Nyquil and Dayquil pills cause my Throat hurts so much from coughing. I cant Swallow em.

Anyone else do really shit on their AS Level re-sits? !


I got a C in Computing the first time I did the exams and then got two E's and a U the second time !!

 

You might as well be speaking in another language right now.

 

That's just what I was thinking.

 

AS Level's are like, half of the A Level which is similar to Finals in High School in America I think (I'm not sure how old you are when you leave, if it's 18 then I'm right).


As for the grading system it's the same until you get to E. Below an E is an F in America however in the UK it's a U (standing for Unclassified).


Basically, a U is the same as a fail in America




Edit: England uses this stupid Unified Mark System aswell which is basically a statistical fiddle to ensure that there are enough people falling into each of the grade categories. It also means that you can somehow get a 100% mark in an exam even if you only get a mark in the 90% range.

 

You guys should have an F instead of a U. So that it's ABCDEF, and the EF stands for "Epic Fail"

But as it is, I guess U could stand for U SUX.

 

I get it now. Kinda. So basically, if I was in England, I'd have pretty much a U or something. Well, not right now, but like, yeah. A U.

 

basically it's like:

A = A
B = B
C = C
D = D
E = E
U = F

 

This is why I didn't retake it XD

I get my results tomorrow. Stupid school closing early because of mentoring *Grumbles*
