With Teeth probably is, although self proclaimed King of NIN, Casey would shoot me for reccomending With Teeth.

I've only done it once but fucking hell. Relaxing at first but jesus christ it gets rowdy and messy all too soon.

Is it actually some insomniac condition or just a constant lure away from sleeping?

I had that once. Always something more interesting to do than sleep. Like wanking, or watching Golf Course Airhorn videos on youtube.

 

It's hard to explain.

Let's say my body and mind need exactly 12 hours of sleep, but I only sleep for 8 hours. Let's assume I went to bed at 10 PM and woke up at 6 AM -- 8 hours.

No, no matter how long I stay awake, be it 14 hours or 20 hours, I'm ONLY going to sleep for 4 hours the next time I go to sleep, because my body only needed 12 hours of sleep total to begin with.

Therefore, I'm going to end up waking up after those four hours, no matter how long I was awake prior, and won't be able to fall back asleep for a few more hours.

By this time, it's the middle of the night, and my sleep schedule gets all mucked up.

It's so very annoying.

 

Sounds like you need to stay ridiculously true to a sleeping plan. I.e. Going to bed and waking up at the same time every day.

However the stress and lives of 21st century youths mean that this is actually impossible.

 

It definitely does.

The worst part is I was on a perfect sleeping schedule, going to bed around 11 PM and waking up around 9:30 AM every day.

I spent the weekend at a friend's last weekend and bollocksed it all up.

 

Yea, I generally have a good pattern until the weekend rolls round when I have to go out and I have to wake up to watch Football in the most inconvenient of all timezones, GMT.


I guess I don't "Have" to, but I couldn't live with myself if I didn't.
