if you buy the 2CD set, it gives you an option to download the files in FLAC or MP3 or some Apple format. But I do see what you're saying, thus this post is pointless.
got the whole album. comes with some avatars, forum signatures, website banners and desktop backgrounds. the backgrounds are very stunning.

EDIT: And on a further note, due to the licensing, there is a full album version of the torrent available. I'm pretty sure I can post it here legally, but I won't try my luck for now. Either way, I've already ordered my 10$ copy and the store isn't working, so yeah.
Indeed. I noticed that while listening to Ghosts I. I'm thinking of finding one and making a sig and ava out of one of those... unless they already come with the download pack?
there's only 6 avatars, 14 banners/signatures and a huge transparent NIN logo and a smaller regular NIN logo. Then there's a standard and widescreen wallpaper pack with 11 files in each, both the same. the PDF booklet is far more stunning, and leaves out a couple of images that should have been made into wallpapers. In particular, one shot reminds me of the cover for Opeth's Blackwater Park. But, no, I don't think all the song images are included in the extra content.
Well then... Oh damn, the TIME SIGNATURES for each track are in the comments tag. Trent, you are amazing.
Damn it, Trent better not complain about people not purchasing this album if we can't even access the damn site. I assume that's what's happening. I come home and suddenly there's new NIN content.
To recap: Nothing. Nothing. PUNCHTOTHEFACE36TRACKINSTRUMENTALALBUM NIN fans successfully stop the NINternet.
Yeah, multi-tracks for $75... damn. I dig his different pricing this time around but I don't need the Blu-ray disk and a hardcover. I'd rather just be able to purchase the CD(s) and the multi-track DVD on it's own like I would at a retail store without the extra goodies. It's all right though. I support Trent's efforts 100% and although $300 is wayyy too much for music, I'm willing to pay seventy-five of my hard earned dollars to support this cause. I hope in the future though he has a few more order options.
Well, seeing as how this is all under the CCL, you could wait until April and just pirate the multitrack files. I'm pretty sure they'll probably even be released before then.
Same here. So are we ever gonna see this in a record store? Or would that require Trent signing to a label?
I'm pretty sure I read somewhere that the vinyl will be released in stores. Nothing about the physical CD, though.
I believe it says it in the topic somewhere and on the NIN website and wiki that it will be physically available come April 8th.
So I might just download it off a torrent site for now, and buy it when it physically comes out... But shit, new NIN. Who gives a shit if it's only instrumentals either.
Okay... is there any back-story to the album(s)? I haven't purchased it yet (waiting for server to stabilize), but I've gotten the 9-track sampler from Pirate Bay and... They’re all "# Ghosts I"? No names, just... "# Ghosts #"? That's going to be difficult for discussion... "Did you hear one-ghosts-one? It's awesome." "Yeah, but it doesn't beat nine-ghosts-one!"
