What are you expecting from it? It could just be a standard live video , but it could still turn out pretty cool. Plus if it's anything like the fake one in the News thread, I'll be more than satisfied.

Well theres youtube videos from fans of LP"s Given Up performance at the O2 arena. Chester goes into the crowd during the breakdown of the song. Along with all the theatrical elements on stage, it should be pretty cool. I really hope they add Wake to the video as well, although it would have been cool if that was the intro for the show with the curtains coming down when Given up started, but they didn't go that route.

    Paris?

On Chester Bennington's official blog, he stated that the video is currently being shot and features live performance from the band. The release date, however, is still unknown, although Bennington told the crowd at the MEN Arena and the O2 Arena during his shows on January 27 and 29 that the performance of "Given Up" was recorded for use in a video. The video for "Given Up" was recorded in front of a live audience in Manchester at the MEN Arena. Cameras were also visible during the performance of the song at the concert on January 28 and 29 at the O2 Arena, with Chester stating on the January 29 show that they are filming for the "Given Up" video. Linkin Park had officially finished filming the video on February 6, according to Billboard.[2]

O2 arena and the MEN arena, i didn't know it was shot at the MEN arena as well. At Manchester Wake Given Up served as the intro so i'm pretty sure they captured the whole curtain dropping thing :D It should be a cool video though if they switch from back and forth from 2-3 different shows. The youtube video I saw at the 02 arena Chester was in the crowd during "the scream" It looks pretty badass

I was at the first date at the 02 arena and yes it was badass when Chester jumped into the crowd. I dunno how the hell he still pulled off the scream with all those people touching him and practicly grappling him.

You should probably think more in the way of Points of Authority Pankake version. Faint was not from a real show. And it was dubbed. I wonder if Given Up is. Numb/Encore wasn't. Well, I hope it is in fact dubbed because Chester didn't hold the 17 scream at that show.

I don't think the whole video is live. It has live parts in (including me, hopefully :p). I think it has LPTV-type clips in the vid.

I think that they might have used the 17 second scream from the Montreal show. They had a guy filming Chester when he did that.

I'm not linking to a leaked version of the video, but it's out there now. The entire video is basically live footage interspersed with some random artsy kind of shots that are edited together extremely rapidly (including a couple screenshots from previous Linkin Park music videos).

And the audio is not live, it's just the album version of the song. I don't know why people would expect anything else.

    That's cool. I think.

Edit: Meh it's only okay.. like the song itself is only okay.

I dunno why you guys don't like it, I found it to be really cool. It wasn't just a live vid, there was all these flashes of artsy stuff so I found that to be awesome. Great vid, I say.
