okay -- is there any real way at all that you can find out if you've been blocked on MSN instant messenger? sounds unlikely but i'm starting a thread in the hopes i find something.
There were quite a few websites that would let you check whether you'd been blocked, which used to work. After some changes made to MSN however these don't work anymore. There are some sites that say they'll check if you're blocked but ask you to put in your MSN username and password so, I should hope no one would fall for that.
isn't there a program called Spybuddy that you can download, I think that's what it's called, maybe it's for yahoo lol
I'm a butterfly beta tester for Windows Live Messenger (disclaimer: I'm a volunteer, not MS employee). I've tested it pretty throughly, and I know that regardless of which block checker you use, it will not work. They all check using the same method. You can only see and message a contact if you are on their allow list. By default, only contacts they have specifically added are on their allow list, everyone else [which includes the block checker bots/scripts] is on their deny list.
Okay then can someone tell me why when I asked my friend to block me on MSN, that he had still received my message when he was shown as offline?
Ok, now you hurt my feelings! :''( Cause I'm not sure my way is 100% legal Tried it on myself! (Yes, I'm that sad.)
