I'm pretty sure this is where this goes, but if not...feel free to move it. Apparently there's a game in production set to be released at the end of 2008 called "Guitar Rising". It's much like Guitar Hero BUT with REAL guitars. Check it out: http://blog.wired.com/music/2008/02/guitar-hero-for.html
Probably meant to be in Kick Back, but whatever, here works. That'd be pretty sweet, not sure how it'd catch on though. The point of guitar hero is for people to think they're good when really they aren't.
Like me? Not that I'm claiming to even be a good guitarist or anything. But if it helps people learn, it could be great.
Oh, of course. I'm not against learning real guitar. I wish I could play real guitar but Guitar Hero is still loads of fun.
And this is how I will finally be able to learn guitar. As opposed to going on msn, and asking Astat like a billion questions every night.
On the plus side, do you have any idea how ridiculously easy it would be to mod new songs into that game? but then people would get into arguments that the songs aren't 'tabbed right.'
