One of the best movies of all time and deserves it's place along Schindlers List, Titanic, Star Wars, Lord of the Rings, Guess Who's Coming to Dinner among others. Does cinema get any greater than this. I encourage you to watch and find me a better sequence of scenes from any movie, or TV show. I also reccomend watching scenes involving Uncle's showering, and cheese pizzas.
Oooh, I loooove that movie. Great thread indeed. A few months ago I watched 'Death at a funeral'. I laughed all the way through. Here's a short scene.
Definitely an awesome movie! Craked me up big time when I first watched it way back when I was a kid. Macaulay Culkin acted brilliantly in this film. Its sad and pitiful to see him now though.
Cedric: You know, Herbert Hoover once stayed here on this floor. Kevin: The vacuum guy? Cedric: No, the President. Classic. So much value watching it now. Shit just flies over your head when you're 5-10 years old.
A classic movie, i got it when it was on video lol However, you said to find better scenes/TV shows: Ending to 'Shawshank redemption' Ending to 'The Usual Suspects' - Probably the best ending to a movie i have ever seen. Realization scene in 'The Beach' The whole of 'Pulp Fiction' 'Band of Brothers' TV show especially Bastogne (sp?) Frado scene in 'The Godfather' And my personal favorite 'NCIS' the TV show ;p Those are just some off the top of my head, there is probably more.
Wow, you seriously just said that Home Alone 2 was as good as Schindler's List. That's a little disturbing. Home Alone 2 is a great movie but it's far from being anywhere near the top of a best movie ever list.
I'd like to rebut this entire list with this: Kevin McCallister: Howdy do. This is Peter McCallister, the father. I'd like a hotel room please, with an extra large bed, a TV, and one of those little refrigerators you have to open with a key. Credit card? You got it.
Titanic's fantastic. Home Alone 2 is better of course. Kevin McCallister sketching Rose nude upon an ocean liner. Now there is a fucking scene!
Then you blatantly haven't seen any of the movies i listed. You can't compare a comedy about a child who beats up two terrible robbers to a movie like Schindler's list in where Jews are murdered, your comparison is rather disturbing.
