What better way to kill time during the writers strike than to invent a cross-network feud between two of the most outrageous, popular talk show hosts on television. This has the potential to be the greatest thing ever.
I'm very interested with how Colbert will respond to this. Maybe this will culminate in appearances on each others' shows?
I can only imagine Colbert will challenge Conan to some sort of challenge, much like the Gravitas-off, the Guitar Shred-off with the Decemberists, his challenge to Kucinich to empty his pockets on his show, or his Grub-off invitation to Obama.
¨ Well, the writer's strike makes it a lot more believable because technically they can't have people write anything for them now so either it's real or it's something Conan and Colbert thought of themselves... Conan Made Huckabee!
I thought it was, EXCELLENT. Thank the un(existant) G for internet so I can actually watch funny stuff like this.
Not when you've been following Colbert night-in and night-out. This is classic Colbert. It's all too convenient that at a time where no writing is being done, and where time needs to be wasted every night, that two late night shows help each other out with a hilarious feud. The fact that they're playing it up by on each show is more than enough to know this is orchestrated.
