Sure, there are a lot of horrible examples to choose from, but I don't think that it's appropriate to just say that any anime/manga title being made into live action wouldn't be possible. Just like every other film, you just need the right concept, and the right team behind it. You're right; relatively every anime series out there is dramatized to a great extent, but you can easily take that away, or make it work to the general audience's preferences.
i was looking on that site you Provided and apparently RUMOR is that it will be a trilogy ...so im guessing King Picollo.....then Frieze (super saiyan would be interesting to watch in theaters) and prolly Cell or the androids...If its more Realistic, then Androids could work possibly. BTW my Favorite character is Trunks woot
I dunno, Danny DeVito as Krillin would've been "an epic win". I mean just look: On a more serious note, I used to like it a lot but it got a little much towards the end when you've seen the reruns a million times.
hell, they may as well try and take on "pokémon" next ... but we'll see how DBZ turns out. personally, i was never a big fan of DBZ but i came to appreciate it.
I'm not entirely sure about this movie myself. I loved the show when I was a kid, but I think I'm definitely going to see this movie just out of curiosity. ;P I wonder who will play Vegeta though.
Well if its Against King Picollo and based off Dragonball. not Z then Vegeta wont be in it ..unless they destroy the plotline
i thought that was one of the only things they are doing OKAY his face Looks similar in shape to Goku's ESPECIALLY in "The Invisible" but they need to have it long and dark..not upward and spiky like it is. or its just Super Saiyan looking.....but you know.....not super
There costumes are pretty craptacular. But I must withhold my judgement until I see an actual trailer. Still, my expectations are VERY low. Very low indeed.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7d4V8b-dQcU Some pictures from shooting, it looks like there is some traditional costumes in it, like the orange suit, blue belt, and what now. I dreally like to see it become a good movie beause I was one of those kids that would rush home every night just to catch an episode haha.
The only thing keeping me interested and optimistic about this film is Marsters. Plus, it's great to hear how interested and excited he is about this film. Other than that. FAIL. Thus far, anyways.
