You're very welcome. I know people have asked for more time in previous competitions, so I thought a month would be a great amount of time for people to write their entries and submit then. If one person complains though... I'm interested to see what you'll have for us. I look forward to your entry, if you truly decide to enter. Please do, though.
Ok Im gonna do this haha. I need to get more involved in the forums anyway! So it can be a song right? Cause thats what I do mostly, lyrics and stuff.
If you'd read the entire post, you'd have found out. But that's okay. You submit your entry to lyrics.competition[at]gmail.com. It must be submitted in this format: Subject of E-mail: LPA_LC_Submission LPA Username: Title of Submission: Style of Submission: Submission: Please read the original post for other details, such as how to withdraw an entry and the format required for voting. Thank you.
Okay I think I'm done, just a few more check ups and grammar proof reading and I'll submit. I wrote so many things but I finally decided on what I wanted.
Mine's been sent... Sorry to break it to you guys but it's gonna be hard to beat. Good luck everyone!
Yeah, but I felt it was fairly organized... *shrug* If there are any other questions regarding the competition itself, you may ask here or private message me. Any questions regarding your entry must be private messaged to me. Oh, and David, please check your PM Inbox.
Question on that-- is there a maximum word limit for those opting to submit something other than a poem or lyrics?
Caitlin - There is no word limit. However, longer pieces of work are sometimes difficult to read unless they really grip the interest of the reader. So, keep that in mind when you're writing your peace. There is no limit on length that I know of, but if I feel it is absurdly long / short I may decline it and you'll have to revise it.
I'm In, taking a break right now to get a really strong piece togeather, good luck to the competition.
