I need to take a warm bubble bath. I need to destress. People piss me the fuck off.

 

I should go to bed so I can wake up and "go to work."

 

Maybe not in your neck of the woods, but when I was in school shit like that went down every weekend. Minus the Hollywood story of course.

From the pressure of school, to buying drinks for friends, to getting busted by cops, to house parties, to drunken women to passing out on the floor with your mates.

The writers nailed it to a tee. Excellent film. 5 Stars, give it an Oscar please.

So that might be the subconcious reasoning behind your hatred for Superbad.

I've heard from a lot of people that Superbad sucks.

 

I edited it because I realized a few things I had said made no relevance to the topic at hand, which is something a lot more people on forums ought to do.

Do not tell me to chill out. I stated my opinion. You then continued to harass me, thus provoking this argument. Don't you dare try to blame this on me. I disliked the movie, you liked it. You could have ended it there.

 

I don't know where to begin with this.

I started discussing why I thought Superbad was a great movie.

You called me ignorant, a misogynistic prick, unreasonable, etc. Just because you think underrage drinking is "uncool" doesn't draw away from the quality of the film, or whether its a realistic representation of teenage life.


I presented an rebuttal, you presented insults.

Can we not have a debate on this forum? Is that not allowed? Fucks sake. I know I don't have a blue name, so I've already lost this one. But can I get an amen please?

And having a blue name has nothing to do with it. I said I didn't like the movie. YOU PROVOKED THAT. You could have said "I beg to differ", and leave it at that. By drawing out how you thought that it deserved an Oscar only made you look like an ass. So sorry if I got a bit bitchy, but I tend to do that when someone provokes me.

 

I do think it deserves an Oscar. It won't win one though.


I didn't try to provoke you mind. I just went into bat for Superbad, as I think it's class. I fully expected, and wanted to debate this. Didn't want it to turn into a personal war, I don't think I tried to make it one though.
