That song has so much power that the original didn't really have. I love it, best Reanimation song IMO.
Stephen Richards, Jon Davis and Aaron Lewis did an awesome job and i believe they should be on the original esspecially stephen.
Taking my post on the LPMB and modifying it slightly (same user name and avatar should be enough proof that the account is mine (and the info)) : Reanimation is a very good remix album, but that's the only way. It was better than Collsion Course to me, but that's it. In fact: 1: Meteora 2: Hybrid Theory 3: Hybrid Theory EP 4: Minutes to Midnight 5: Live In Texas 6: Reanimation 7: Collision Course And if you wanted me to include the Xero Sampler tape, tha'd be #6, and Reanimation would be #7, and CC would be #8. DER! *melts*
1. Hybrid Theory 2. Meteora 3. Minutes to Midnight 4. Reanimation 5. Hybrid Theory EP 6. Live in Texas 7. Collision COurse If I had to rank em Reanimation is probably the most diverse record and had the most innovation, but I don't know I just can't find myself to think that it was an actual album. I'm always gonna think that they just took good material and tweaked it a lot, and technically they did. I loved Reanimation, but I just feel like if I could get Reanimation 2.0 or a 4th studio album, I'd want the studio album. Hard to explain, but I hope you guys catch my drift
If someone has something relevant to add, I don't see why 'necroposting' should be an issue. Reanimation, in my opinion, blows hot and cold. The Forgotten remix is shite, while the Pushing me Away remix is quite amazing. Hybrid Theory is a better disc, so in response to the original question, no it is not.
Pushing Me Away remix for the motherfucking win. Seriously, Reanimation is worth it just for that song.
Personally, I view Reanimation as a stand-alone album, even though it's just Hybrid Theory remixed. I can't say it's really better than any of the other albums, since none of the other albums are in the same type of format, really. Overall though, I'd say that Reanimation comes in second or third, just because Hybrid Theory and Minutes to Midnight are suck kickass albums.
I think the Forgotten remix is totally badass (slowing it down to a badass hip-hop song? That's genius right there), but to each their own. I think I've stated this before, but just to reiterate. I believe Reanimation is the best album LP has put out EVER.
Indeed, i'm not a huge fan of hip-hop, so that's probably why I reckon it's shite. It just lost it's edge in my opinion. A sharp song, gone blunt...or something.
I like Reanimation; but its just in my personal opinion that it isn't better than Meteora. For one I don't listen to it as much as the regular albums; since I don't see it as an album. More of a remix. But I do enjoy Reanimation and want a Reanimation v2.0 with remixes of Meteora. We've been waiting for that for some time and hopefully they would compose a remix of that album and maybe a few tracks off of MTM.
That would be an awesome idea, but I bet there'd be a lot of complications surrounding the product when it actually gets a release. Did Reanimation even get a vast amount of positive feedback? If so, I don't see why the band wouldn't consider doing something like that.
To the people who think Reanimation is the best LP record out, would you rather want Reanimation 2.0 or a 4th studio album?
