The Plain White T's are the "special" guest at the 89x Christmas show. You give me a lineup with Jimmy Eat World, Paramore, Coheed and Cambria, and Mute Math and then you throw in the Plain White T's? What the fuck 89x, What the fuck?

 

but thats his actual voice which amuses me.

because Steve Burton's character on General Hospital (a soap opera for those who don't know), is this mob enforcer named Jason Morgan [Quartermaine, but thats hard to explain right now]

Kevin Rudd had a nice speech.

So did John Howard. Kevin Rudd's had more excitement though, for obivious reasons.

I want my money already... 5 more days!

 

Rudd is so much more positive than Howard though.

Howards all doom and gloom and paranoia, Rudd is looking to the future, being positive.

 

Hmm...

Good on Rudd then. I'm glad he's positive, I just hope he lives up to what he's said he can achieve for us. And I really mean that, not dissing him.

I just hope he doesn't do the same thing John Howard did in the last election and talk about the hospital thing (I can't remember what it was) And then 6 months later get rid of it because of other problems arising.

 

Yea, well all Howard has ever done is lie as far as I'm concerned.

I can't imagine Rudd being as bad as him.

I can't believe only two independants got in though!

 

Howard did pretty well for us I think.
I'm not too pleased about the War in Iraq though. That was 100% stupid.

How many more were you expecting? I never payed attention to those.

Nah I'm not sure how many to expect actually, but two is pretty low I think.

I don't think Howard did much for us, he's just lucky we found all that iron ore and coal during his term in office, that's the one reason our economy is so strong right now.

Anyways, I'm off, gonna go try and learn this song...

 

You've got a point there.
He did uphold it throughout his entire time in office though, like Jeff Kennet said; I's just quite sad how most people under the age of 35 think that the way our economy is running is just normal, and not a boom.

I hope Rudd does a good job of keeping it the way it is, and I'm confident he will.
