It was really good actually. Kinda hopeful in a way.

My mate Dan, the one whos father died, he played that beatles song, Blackbird as a tribute. Was amazing really. Dunno how he managed it.

 

That's awesome.

It must have been like... such a beautiful moment.
I don't think I'd cope if one of my friends Dad's had died (One I knew well) and went to the funeral.

 

I had a hard time coping, I really just stayed strong 'cos I felt I had to for my mate.
He needs a lot of support right now I guess.

I destroyed a franchise in Madden because I signed all my players to ridiculous contracts.

That'd be sweet if you could have seven players with $80 million dollar-plus contracts in real life.

Oh. I was just commenting on how I fucked up a franchise in Madden 08 by giving a bunch of huge contracts.

Brady Quinn had a $100 mil. contract. Kamerion Wimbley had a $90 mil. contract. Braylon Edwards and Kellen Winslow had $75 mil. contracts. Sean Jones and Brodney Pool had $70 mil. contracts. Then there was at least 15 players above $50 mil.

It was awesome. But...

At the end of every season I have to get rid of seven or eight players and that sets my salary cap penalty back even farther than it was the year before, requiring me to cut even MORE players.

So pretty much, I can't keep playing. I got to like, the 9th year (just simulating through) before they finally took my team away.

 

It's only because I figured my team would make a ton of money during the season since I haven't lost more than three games in a season yet. (Note I have not gone undefeated, which sucks.)

So you know, leave it to my team to fuck up and only post a 10-6 record. My fans hated me because it was a six game losing streak in the middle of the season. But I guess that's what happens when your star quarterback breaks a bone in his hand.
