I making an essay for admissions into a college I want to go to.

I didn't think it'd be this hard.

These are my finals, so I need to do well at these to get into college in the first place.

That's the only way to write an essay.

I mean, most scholarly articles have so much extra information in them which doesn't pertain to the point of the article, so it's not like you're actually reading anything you need to know.

That's the mentality I bring to the table when I write my own essays.

 

That's the mentality I've always brought to my essays. Well, since Year 10 anyway, when I found out I'm a grade A bullshitter.

Yeah, that's when I figured it out, too.

Last semester (or the one before that, I can't remember), I wrote a 12 page essay which only had maybe 2 pages of anything useful.

 

fuck me, I don't think I've ever written a 12 page essay in my life. At high school the longest I've done was 7, and maybe a page and a bit was actually facts. I love throwing in long-ass synonyms where I could just use a four letter word. confuses the teacher too.

 

Essay accomplished!

*headdesk* Finally.

 

Yeah. That's the best. My essay had to be at least 12 pages, though. I always go for the bare minimum when I get the specifications of an essay.

If the minimum word count is 750 and the maximum is 1500, I'll write a 764-word essay.

 

that's what word/page minimums were invented for, to be met.......just.

I really don't get on LPA much sometimes, I'm always busy really. If I am on it's usually at night and just for a few mins, so I don't doubt why I missed that I guess.
